What are IEP accommodations?
Accommodations are to provide students tools that change how they learn and access learning material.  Accommodations are based on the students individual needs and must serve as a means to allow them to complete that same task as their non-learning disabled peers. The purpose of an accommodation is to provide a student with equal access to learning and an equal opportunity to show what he knows and what he can do.

Who is involved in making accommodations decisions for students?

IEP teams are responsible for making accommodations decisions for student with either an IEP or 504 plan.
