Learning Standard

### 1.OA.C.6

Add and subtract within 20, demonstrating fluency for addition and subtraction within 10. Use strategies such as counting on; making ten (e.g., 8 + 6 = 8 + 2 + 4 = 10 + 4 = 14); decomposing a number leading to a ten (e.g., 13 - 4 = 13 - 3 - 1 = 10 - 1 = 9); using the relationship between addition and subtraction (e.g., knowing that 8 + 4 = 12, one knows 12 - 8 = 4); and creating equivalent but easier or known sums (e.g., adding 6 + 7 by creating the known equivalent 6 + 6 + 1 = 12 + 1 = 13).

Target IEP Goal

By (date), when given exercises with addition up to 20, the student will make a number using addition with sums up to 20, improving operations and algebraic thinking skills from 0/10 work samples out of ten consecutive trials to 8/10 work samples in ten consecutive trials.

Teach Tastic IEP goals written to be SMART: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Results-Oriented, and Time-Bound.

IEP Goal Objectives

1

Count Cubes - Up to 7

By (date), when given exercises with numbers and counting to 7, the student will count cubes - up to 7, improving counting and cardinality skills from 0/10 work samples out of ten consecutive trials to 8/10 work samples in ten consecutive trials.

2

Count Shapes in Rows (up to 5)

By (date), when given exercises with counting to 5, the student will count shapes in rows (up to 5), improving counting and cardinality skills from 0/10 work samples out of ten consecutive trials to 8/10 work samples in ten consecutive trials.

3

Learn to Count to 5

By (date), when given exercises with counting to 5, the student will learn to count to 5, improving counting and cardinality skills from 0/10 work samples out of ten consecutive trials to 8/10 work samples in ten consecutive trials.

4

Identify Numbers (up to 5)
