By (date), when given exercises with diphthongs, oi, oy, ou, ow, the student will select the word with a diphthong that corresponds to the picture, improving phonics and word recognition skills from 0/10 work samples out of ten consecutive trials to 8/10 work samples in ten consecutive trials.
