Welcome to our IEP Goals page, designed to support the continuous academic growth of students. Our target goals align with Learning Standard 4.OA.A.3, focusing on solving multistep word problems using the four operations. We aim to enhance students' operations and algebraic thinking skills through specific, measurable, attainable, results-oriented, and time-bound objectives. For instance, students will work towards solving multistep problems with strip diagrams, improving from 0/10 to 8/10 successful attempts over ten trials. Solve multistep word problems posed with whole numbers and having whole-number answers using the four operations, including problems in which remainders must be interpreted. Represent these problems using equations with a letter standing for the unknown quantity. Assess the reasonableness of answers using mental computation and estimation strategies including rounding.
