    LESSON INSTRUCTION

    INTRODUCTION
    1. Review the vocabulary related to telling time on an analog clock.
    2. Ask students if they know how to tell time on a clock.
    3. Show students an analog clock and a digital clock and ask them to identify the differences.
    4. Ask students to name the hour and minute hands of the analog clock.
    INSTRUCTION
    1. Explain to the students that there are two types of clocks - analog and digital.
    2. Demonstrate how to read the time on an analog clock with whole and half-hour increments.
    3. Demonstrate how to read the time on a digital clock.
    4. Model how to match the digital time to the analog time on a clock.
    GUIDED PRACTICE
    1. Give students clock worksheets with both digital and analog times.
    2. Ask students to match the digital time to the analog time.
    3. Monitor student progress and provide feedback as needed.

      INDEPENDENT PRACTICE
      1. Give students additional worksheets to practice matching digital time to analog time.
      2. Set a timer for 10 minutes and have students work independently on the worksheets.
      3. Walk around the room and provide support and feedback as needed.

        HOMEWORK
        1. Assign a clock worksheet for homework.
        2. Have students practice telling time and matching digital time to analog time.
