### INTRODUCTION

1. Show a picture of a basic 3D shape and ask the students if they have seen this shape before.
2. Ask the students if they can identify any real-life objects that are shaped like the 3D shape.
3. Display an everyday object and ask the students if they can identify its shape.

### INSTRUCTION

1. Introduce the basic 3D shapes (cube, sphere, cylinder, cone) and show pictures of them.
2. Discuss the characteristics of each shape and give examples of real-life objects that are shaped like them.

### GUIDED PRACTICE

1. Display various everyday objects and ask the students to identify their shape.
2. Help the students match the objects to their corresponding 3D shape picture.

### INDEPENDENT PRACTICE

1. Give each student a drawing paper and ask them to draw an everyday object that is shaped like one of the basic 3D shapes.
2. Instruct the students to label the shape of the object they drew.

### HOMEWORK

1. Ask the students to draw at least two everyday objects for each of the basic 3D shapes that they can find around their home. They can label the objects with their corresponding shape and bring their drawings to class to share with the class.

### EXIT TICKET

1. Provide each student with a whiteboard and marker.
2. Instruct students to draw one shape and label its attributes.

### ASSESSMENT

1. Give each student a worksheet with pictures of everyday objects and a list of the basic 3D shapes.
2. Instruct the students to match the objects to their corresponding 3D shape.

### CLOSURE

1. Review the basic 3D shapes and their characteristics.
2. Ask the students to share their favorite object that they found during their shape scavenger hunt.
3. Encourage the students to continue looking for shapes in their daily lives.
