HOMEWORK
- Provide each student with a worksheet pack containing subtraction word problems to solve using manipulatives and number sentences.
- Instruct students to complete at least 3 word problems and show their work using manipulatives and number sentences.
- Encourage students to ask for help or clarification if needed.
- Optional: Students can create their own subtraction word problem and solve it using manipulatives and a number sentence.
Note: Homework should be optional and not graded. It is important to provide a balance between schoolwork and home life, and to ensure that students have enough time to rest and engage in other activities. Encourage parents to support their child's learning by asking them to review their child's work and provide positive feedback.
